Unfortunately, the there will issues with the cable connection for the internet at the hotel in Tucson. Some of the video's have "lag" time, some videos did not show well at all. We do apologize for this inconvenience. Val will be working to "polish" some of these videos to make them a little better. In the mean time, here are the raw and unedited versions, below.

"The Umbrella Test" with Graziella Petinatti
Graziella is from Quebec, and prefers not to call herself a graphologist because of the negative connotations with that word. Because she works with Document Examination, Drawings, Cursive Coaching and helping educators understand more about their students through their handwriting, Graziella prefers the title "Specialist of the Graphic Gesture." She advises us all to ask for drawings with the handwriting samples, because, as she demonstrates in her talk, they can reveal a lot more to add to your analysis!

"Millennials, Why Should They Care About Graphology" by Rachel Blomstrom
|
Rachel Blomstrom is working on perfecting her graphology and document examination. Having returned to college after the military, Rachel has been aware of people re-inventing themselves and how this affects the Millennial generations.
Her talk demonstrated how we, as graphologists, can appeal to that generation and keep graphology alive and flourishing. She presented a very interesting perspective! For a handout, Rachel gave permission to give out her PowerPoint used at the Conference. ![]()

"Graphic Maturity" by Jane Yank
Dr. Jane Yank is the Research Chair for AHAF. In her professional, academic, life, she deals with research papers all the time! We are so fortunate.
Jane indicates that research on handwriting, as a whole, is on the rise. This presentation is on Jane's own research regarding the graphic maturity of children between 2nd and 6th grades. Full of demonstrations and exercises, Jane presented a lively and captivating presentation. There are no handouts associated with this topic. Jane will speak with us again in the near future when all of her research is completed. |
