Mentoring
Mentoring is beneficial to both the student and the teacher. Its something we all grow into. We all need help at one time or another. And, it helps to keep us on our toes! We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each Month.
This mentoring program is designed to pair graphology students with a certified graphologist. They can exchange emails for questions and encouragement through out the month. And, once a month both students and teachers are welcome to come and share some of the questions and examples with the group....to make it a learning adventure for everyone! Its also the learning place to answer those really tricky questions. We share samples for demonstrations of the answers to those issues.
The Mentoring program will help both the student and the certified. Because we all need the points to keep our certifications (See Certification Renewal), we help to mentor others. We learn by answering questions just as much as by asking them. Mentors are only able to help their mentee's to get to the point where they are ready for their certification exam. Once the student has applied for certification, they are not allowed to assist them with their exam.
Einstein once said "If you cannot explain it to a 6 year old, then you really don't understand it yourself." There are times when we all need to take a step back and try to simplify this very complex subject.
